Parent & Carer Letter – One Day Absence
I am concerned about instances when students are absent for just one day. In the first six weeks of term we have recorded 145 one day absences for medical reasons. I know how difficult it can be to convince a child to go to school when they are feeling under the weather but occasional absences do affect learning as students miss valuable explanations and activities.
