COVID-19 Update

We have been advised that one of our students in Year 8 and two in Year 10 have tested positive for COVID-19. As a result we have asked a number of students to self-isolate as a precaution. You will have already been contacted by the Academy if your child is affected. 

The Academy will remain open for other students, and providing your child remains well they may attend as normal unless directed otherwise.

Students working from home may access their home learning here.

COVID-19 Update

Whilst we’re very fortunate to have so few positive cases of COVID-19 lately, there has been a rise in the local area. Sandwell Public Health are encouraging the re-introduction of face masks, so we’re taking the precautionary measure of asking students to wear face masks (unless exempt) in communal areas of the Academy (when walking between lessons) from Thursday 24th June until further notice. Should cases increase then mask wearing may be extended to classrooms.(Read more…)
