You will have heard in the news that students returning to education will be offered lateral flow tests. We are awaiting delivery of the equipment and have been working hard over the holidays to plan carefully for this. There is now a ‘Testing’ tab on our dedicated Coronavirus page here which provides an overview of the process.(Read more…)

As you may be aware, the government has today announced that there will be a further staggered start to the new term in January. This is to try to reduce the transmission of the virus following the return of students after Christmas, and to allow us to implement additional measures to help keep everyone safe.

These new guidelines mean that there will now be some year groups attending the Academy and other year groups learning from home. (Read more…)
